The journal focuses on writings that contains research and contemporary thinking in the field of Communication Studies in various angles / perspectives. include:

  1. Media Policies: Mass Media Industries, New Media Studies, Media Ethics, Communications,
  2. Strategic Communications: Strategic Communications Management, Social Marketing, Mass Communications.
  

Fokus dan Cakupan

Jurnal ini fokus pada tulisan-tulisan yang berisi penelitian dan pemikiran kontemporer di bidang Ilmu Komunikasi dalam berbagai sudut / perspektif. termasuk:

  1. Kebijakan Media: Industri Media Massa, Studi Media Baru, Etika Media, Komunikasi
  2. Komunikasi Strategis: Manajemen Komunikasi Strategis, Pemasaran Sosial, Kominikasi Masa.

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double  Blind Peer Review Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month (four week) for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer that collaboration with Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is the experts in Communication Science area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal and publication that was spread around the national and abroad.

  

Proses Tinjauan Ulasan

Setiap artikel yang kirm akan dipilih melalui proses Tinjauan Awal oleh Dewan Editorial. Kemudian, artikel-artikel tersebut akan dikirim ke Mitra Bestari / peer reviewer dan akan masuk ke seleksi berikutnya oleh dua  pengulas. Setelah itu, artikel akan dikembalikan kepada penulis untuk direvisi. Proses ini memakan waktu satu bulan (empat minggu) untuk waktu maksimum. Dalam setiap naskah, Mitra Bebestari / peer reviewer akan dinilai dari aspek substansial dan teknis. Mitra Bestari / peer reviewer yang bekerja sama dengan Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi adalah pakar di bidang Ilmu Komunikasi dan masalah-masalah di sekitarnya. Mereka berpengalaman dalam jurnal dan publikasi bergengsi yang tersebar di seluruh nasional dan luar negeri.

Author Fee (Page Charge)

Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is an open access journal. Since submitting the manuscript, the author does not need to pay processing fees (Free Charges). If it has been accepted and processed for publication, there is a fee that the author must pay.  Writers can read and download full text articles  for free.

  

Biaya Penulis (Biaya Halaman)

Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi adalah jurnal akses terbuka. Sejak penyerahan naskah, penulis tidak perlu membayar biaya pemrosesan (Biaya Gratis). Jika sudah diterima dan pemrosesan publish, ada biaya yang harus dibayar penulis.  Penulis dapat membaca dan mengunduh artikel teks lengkap  secara gratis.

Authors who publish with Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi agree to the following terms:

  1. For all articles published in Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi, copyright is retained by the authors. Authors give permission to the publisher to announce the work with conditions. When the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agrees to implement a non-exclusive transfer of publishing rights to the journals.

The article that can be reviewed by editor board after completing the attachment of plagiarism checker and stated that article at least 75% is origin using tools of checker [Turnitin, Plagiarisma, and Grammarly].
