Journal History

The JIM Journal was first published in 2021 as a peer-reviewed, open-access journal. It is published by the Department of Da'wah Management, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University (UIN) Surabaya.

To improve the quality and standards of publication, the journal management has made improvements to the substance and systematics of writing by requiring the use of English and implementing a new template, which will be implemented starting with Volume 6, Number 2, July 2026. This template can be accessed through the link provided.

We hope that prospective authors will align their manuscripts with the latest JIM template and writing guidelines to maintain the consistency and quality of scientific publications.
