Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pendampingan pemberdayaan petani di Dusun Krajan Desa Siwalan yang memiliki aset alam yaitu ubi kayu, untuk meningkatkan perekonomian petani perlu melakukan sebuah inovasi baru dari ubi kayu, dengan adanya pengolahan aset ubi kayu dapat meningkatkan harga jual dan keterampilan petani ubi kayu di Dusun Krajan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) dengan menggunakan 5-D dalam Apreciative Inquiry, yaitu menemukan dan mengungkap aset serta potensi (Discovery), membangun mimpi (Dream), merencanakan serta menyusun strategi untuk mewujudkan mimpi atau harapan yang telah dibangun (Design), melakukan aksi partisipatif dan merancang strategi (Define), melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi (Destiny). Melalui kegiatan yang menciptakan pemberdayaan ekonomi petani Dusun Krajan, maka dibentuk kelompok dampingan yaitu kelompok usaha tani Dusun Krajan untuk mengolah ubi kayu menjadi singkong keju frozen, yang selama ini ubi kayu hanya dijual mentah dan pengolahan yang biasa dengan harga jual yang rendah. Pelatihan membuat singkong keju frozen berdampak pada kemandirian ekonomi petani dan melatih keterampilan yang dimiliki anggota kelompok untuk menghasikan sebuah produk bernilai jual tinggi untuk meningkatkan ekonomi petani.
