Online First Policy

The Journal of Islamic Counseling and Psychotherapy (JICOUP) implements an Online First publication policy to accelerate the dissemination of scholarly research. Articles that have successfully passed the peer review process, completed revisions, and received final approval from the editorial team will be published online prior to their assignment to a specific issue.

Under the Online First system, accepted manuscripts are published on the journal website in their final and citable form, including DOI, author information, abstract, and full text. This allows the research to be accessed, read, and cited by the academic community as soon as possible without waiting for the completion of the full journal issue.

Once the scheduled issue is released, the Online First articles will be formally included in the corresponding volume and issue of the journal. The content of the article will remain unchanged except for pagination or minor formatting adjustments if necessary.

This policy aims to ensure the timely dissemination of research findings, increase the visibility of published articles, and support the advancement of knowledge in the fields of Islamic counseling, psychotherapy, and mental health from an Islamic perspective.
